RadioDJ handles rotations, categories and scheduling extremely well for something that costs nothing. Set it up properly and it will play music forever without you. That is exactly the problem: forever, without you, and without anybody saying a word.

Most RadioDJ stations end up filling the silence with recorded liners on a cart rotation. Six or seven phrases, played over and over, saying nothing about the songs they sit between. Listeners stop hearing them after a day.

1. An agent runs next to RadioDJ. Small, resident, on the same machine. Your database, categories and rotations are untouched.
2. Your upcoming hour is read. The engine sees the tracks RadioDJ has scheduled: artists, titles, genre, order, intro lengths.
3. Each break is written from that hour. A real link about the songs actually playing — not a generic liner pulled from a pool.
4. The voice is rendered and processed. Your chosen presenter voice, then SOUND4 Big Voice.CL broadcast processing on every single track.

The difference between a voice track and a liner is information. Every break RadioAIVT writes can draw on:

• Artist stories — facts and anecdotes about the artists you actually play.

• Today in history — the date's anniversaries, used as a transition.

Placed on the ramp, not over the vocal

A voice track only works if it lands in the right place. RadioAIVT measures the intro of each song and positions the break across the instrumental ramp, finishing as the vocal starts. That is the detail that separates a station that sounds hosted from one that sounds patched together.

Do I have to change my RadioDJ setup?

No. Your categories, rotations and scheduling stay as they are. The voice tracks are delivered into the flow you already run.

Does it work on an unattended machine?

What if I do not like a break?
